So, talking about elevating the sales game, the one thing that I'd really like to talk about today is how bad do you want it? How bad do you want it? Everybody wants success in life. Everybody wants X, y and Z, but how bad do you really want it? How bad do you want the success? Do you wake up in the morning and it's all you think about? Are you clawing, scratching, trying to do whatever you can in order to get it? Or are you just quote, unquote, walking through your day and just crossing your fingers, hoping and praying that it happens?

Speaker 1:

I'm curious. I hear it all the time. I hear that people you know they want to build up their territories. They want to build up that financial freedom. But are you willing to take the slings and arrows? Are you willing to take the hits? Are you willing to sacrifice and suffer? Are you willing to go through pain in order to come out better on the other side? Because right now you might be in pain, you might really be struggling. Correcting that and building something new is not rainbows and butterflies. It's very rewarding, but are you willing to put in the work? I hear this all the time Mike, I want to make more money.

Speaker 1:

Mike, I want more opportunity. Mike, I want more financial freedom. Mike, I want autonomy. And Mike, I want to live the life that I dream of.

Speaker 1:

My response is always the same what have you done to move closer to that goal? Have you built multiple streams of income? Have you created a larger network that will open up opportunity? Have you invested the skill development and career development? Have you invested in career coaching? Learning from those who have come before you who have failed, can show you the path to success. Have you taken the risks necessary? Have you gone for it? And a lot of times I hear no.

Speaker 1:

For all of those questions, I hate to break it to you. You don't really want it. You'd like to have it, but you don't want it. You don't need it. You don't wake up in the morning and have a singular thought that goes through your mind that is making your future self better, stronger, more successful and richer than you are today.

Speaker 1:

And I know it's not all about the money. But let's be honest, people, it's about the money. If you want to get to where you want to go, it's about the money. You're going to have to do things you haven't done before, some things that might make you uncomfortable, but on the other end, you will become out stronger, and that's really what it comes down to Physical, yes.

Speaker 1:

Emotionally, absolutely mentally tougher, 100%. There is nothing that will get me down. I don't care what people say about me. I do not care what the thoughts are. Oh my gosh, he's posting too much. He's doing too much this, he's doing too much that, there's too much self-promotion. Folks, if I don't promote myself, who's going to promote me? I don't see people lining up to represent me. Are there people lining up to represent you? No, you have to go out and make it happen. I am.

I have built several businesses that revolve around. Mike O'Kelly. How else am I gonna get these businesses, these revenue streams, how else am I gonna get these out to the audience? How, you tell me. I'd love for somebody to tell me how I do that. Without posting, without videos, without reach out, without the podcast, how do I do that? I don't have a storefront. How do you expect to get somewhere better if you are not willing to put in the work, if you're not willing to invest in yourself and you're not willing to take action? I want you to think about that over the weekend.

This episode is being released on a Friday. If you listen to it on a different day. Think about that for the rest of the week. What are you going to do to make yourself more successful? That is different than what you're doing today. If you're growing at 25, 30, 40%, there are some small changes you can make, but you're on the right path. If you're not growing at 40%, 30%, I'll say 25. If you're not growing like that, if you're flat or you're declining, you're in big trouble.
