March 13th, 2020.
States began to lock down and that was the day I started getting e-mails from potential clients taking a "pause" from moving forward.
It was a terrible day because I lost up to 6 deals, (close to 100k lost in commissions).
The good news is that it demonstrated theta I wasn't really in control of my sales career.
This illusion was over, and my eyes were open. I was still gainfully employed, but I realized that it can be taken away from me at any time, so I might as well build something of my own.
It is time for you to be thinking about your career, your future and owning it.
