As outside sales reps, we can sometimes sabotage our efforts in the field.

We focus on "hitting our numbers" so hard, that we lose sight of the actions needed to get us to that level.

Consistent, productive action over a long period of time will beat short term hustle every day of the week.

Instead of being overwhelmed by hitting your number, hyper focus this week on actions that will set you up for a better selling environment.

For me it was getting long form, sit down meetings.

I didn't focus on the one call close; my goal was to get a sit-down meeting where I could "microwave" the relationship and really dive deep into the needs of a prospect.

Focus on hyper actions that will lead you to more selling conversations and opportunities.

The numbers will be easier to hit as a pathway to success will be built.
